Introducing the 1% Happiness Method™ — a science-based, soul-aligned path to clarity, connection, and emotional well-being.

We all want to feel more grounded, focused, and emotionally clear.
But between parenting, building, caregiving, and simply being human — who has time for another self-help plan?

That’s exactly why I created the 1% Happiness Method™:
A realistic, soul-rooted, and science-aligned happiness habit that takes just 14 minutes a day — 1% of your time — and has the power to transform the other 99%.

And while the method is only now being shared publicly, its roots go back much further.

The Wake-Up Call That Changed Everything

In 2010, I was called into an ICU room to speak to my almost 4-year-old nephew after two high-risk brain surgeries.

He responded.
He came back to life, but something awakened in me too.
That day, while I was speaking life into him, I realized I wasn’t truly living mine.

I wasn’t unhappy.
But I was numb — drifting through a predictable, socially acceptable life.
That moment sparked the first real question:

“What does it mean to feel alive?”

Months later, I left everything behind and started fresh in Germany.
That was my first true act of intentional happiness.

Rebuilding from the Inside Out

In 2016, my husband and I took another leap.
We left behind our structured, material-driven life in Germany to backpack across Asia.
We completed a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation — and discovered that real peace comes from within, not from what the world hands us.

Then came April 2019.

We went bankrupt.
Closed a handcrafted business that we loved.
And landed in Portugal with less than €50 and a dream.

But within weeks, we had jobs, a home, a plan, and a new perspective.

Not because of what we had in the bank — but because of what we had built inside:
